Chief Minister Majhi Promotes a Drug-Free India

On Sunday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi engaged with the community at a tea stall after launching the ‘Namo Yuva Run’, which took place between Kalinga Stadium and Janata Maidan to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.

During the event, Majhi expressed his belief that PM Modi's initiative for a drug-free India would resonate with the youth and raise awareness. He participated in the run for a brief distance, promoting the message of a drug-free society.

Majhi highlighted the positive impact of PM Modi's policies, stating that many of his initiatives have addressed significant national issues. He noted that poverty levels have decreased significantly and that the government is close to ensuring electricity and clean drinking water access for every village.

Encouraging the youth to avoid addictions like alcohol, smoking, and drug use, Majhi emphasized that such habits not only harm individuals but also have detrimental effects on families.

On his way back from the event, he took a moment to stop at a tea stall near Mayfair Chowk, where he engaged in a 'chai pe charcha' with locals.

Majhi also inquired about the well-being of a woman present and asked if she was receiving the benefits of government programs.
